Team Development
Build an organizational culture that promotes continuous quality improvement, a commitment to learning, and a results-driven mindset.
From years of leading successful teams, I know that no leader or organization can thrive without effective teams. Teams can also pose challenges, often experiencing fragmentation and siloing. This leads to a decrease in effectiveness and the team becoming more of a burden than a blessing. It is why leaders often find themselves saying, “It’s easier if I just do it myself.”
Team effectiveness often plummets due to trust issues, communication breakdowns, and unclear role expectations. Perhaps, your organization has recently experienced exciting growth, but the team structure hasn’t adapted to these changes and is operating as if nothing has evolved within the organization.
We’ll dig deep into questions such as:
How are all eight functions of teamwork being attended to?
How do we know that the roles of your team are effectively clarified?
How do you relay to the team your expectations of their performance?
What motivates your team?
How well do team members understand their role and their opportunities to contribute to its success?
How do you know that you have the right teams in place and the most appropriate people serving on them, to support the work of your mission?
Let’s work together to help you get the most from the teams you lead to increase and maximize impact.

“Thanks to Paul’s expert leadership, communication skills, and ability to assist in making more informed decisions, our team remained grounded, focused, and productive at our first-time retreat (which Paul helped us plan and facilitate), far beyond our expectations. We move forward with purpose and confidence, grateful to Paul for his expertise and experience which he so generously shared with us, as we entered uncharted territory.”
